What to expect at your next visit
June 28, 2021 - As we begin to welcome guests back to the Luhrs Performing Arts Center and transition to a post-COVID world, the following policies and procedures will be in place for events in our venue. Please note these policies are subject to change at any time in response to developments regarding COVID-19 or as a precaution to better protect the well-being of all visitors to the Luhrs Center.

What Coronavirus precautions are you taking?: In the interests of the health and safety of our guests, artists, staff and volunteers, the Luhrs Center on the campus of Shippensburg University is following the recommendations of the State Health Department, CDC, and the Governor’s Office concerning resumption of programming. Ticketholders will be contacted with additional instructions regarding their specific events. Our Box Office is open via phone (717-477-7469) from 10am- 2pm Monday through Friday and by email at [email protected] .
An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. By visiting the Luhrs Center on the campus of Shippensburg University you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.
The Luhrs Center encourages all guests to be fully vaccinated for the health and safety of themselves and others.
SEATING: As of June 28, 2021 we will resume full seating in the Luhrs Center’s Grove Theatre.
SANITIZATION: Prior to and after each event and performance that takes place within the Luhrs Performing Arts Center, a thorough deep clean/sanitation process will take place including: spraying of seats with a special disinfectant, wiping down of all hard surfaces, door knobs, etc. with sanitizing solution.
MASKS: Masks will be required by guests, staff or volunteers while attending an event within the Luhrs Center, despite vaccination status.
CONCESSIONS: Beginning on October 9, full concessions, including reusable cups, will be in place.
