Johnston Memorial Fund established with the Shippensburg University Foundation. Dr. Johnston recognized Shippensburg University’s important role in setting the cultural tone of the region.  Her interest in promoting the cultural arts and her love of classical music led her to serve as a board member of the Festival Chamber Orchestra Association for many years and establish an endowed fund to benefit the Shippensburg University Festival Orchestra summer concert series to bring world-class musicians and programming to the H. Ric Luhrs Performing Arts Center.
