In Person

The Luhrs Center Box Office is open daily Monday through Friday from 11 am-4:30 pm and closed Saturday and Sunday. The box office is located through the main entrance of the Center in the outer lower lobby to the left.

By Mail or Fax
The form included in the Luhrs Center full season mailer can be mailed or faxed to the Luhrs Center Box Office. The mailing address is H. Ric Luhrs Performing Arts Center, Shippensburg University, 1871 Old Main Drive, Shippensburg, PA 17257. The fax number is 717.477.4095.

Please note that ticket orders will be processed in the order that they are received based on section availability. If a specific section is sold out, a ticket sales associate will call to assist with alternate seating arrangements. Please remember to include your phone number on the order form.

Gift Certificates
Gift certificates are available in any amount. Please call or visit the Luhrs Center Box Office to order. If ordered by phone, the gift certificate will be mailed immediately to assure prompt delivery. Please allow one week for processing and delivery.

Discounts
Shippensburg University Students receive a $5 discount off of the regular ticket price. Limit of 1 ticket with a valid Shippensburg University Student I.D. Card.

This discount will only be given in person at the Luhrs Center Box Office.

Group Sales

Organized groups of 20 or more receive a 10% discount. For group sales, please call the box office at 717.477.SHOW during the hours of operation and ask to speak to the group sales representative. Or you can send an email to groups@luhrscenter.com and someone will respond to you promptly.

Please note that certain performer contracts warrant group discounts. Please ask a group sales representative for more information.

Acceptable Payments
Acceptable payments include: cash, check* (made payable to “Luhrs Performing Arts Center”) and Credit Card (Mastercard, Visa or Discover).

Returned Check Fee: Please note that a $35 service charge will be imposed on each returned check in addition to any charges that may be assessed by the financial institution.  The Luhrs Center also requires that the check writer pay the amount due with cash, certified check or money order.

Handling and Mailing Fee
A non-refundable handling and mailing fee of $4 will be applied to the ticket order when tickets are mailed.

Will Call
When ordering your tickets please indicate to place the tickets in Will Call and your tickets will be held at the Luhrs Center Box Office. Tickets will then be available for pick-up at any time during box office hours of operation or upon arrival for the performance.

Holding Tickets
Payment is due when seats are reserved. Tickets cannot be held at the box office without payment for any reason.

Receipt of Tickets

When purchasing your tickets online or over the phone, you have the option of either receiving the tickets via USPS mail or picking up the tickets at our Box Office “will call”.   If you have purchased tickets for multiple events, tickets for all performances will be placed in the same ticket envelope. 

  USPS Mail - If you select to have your tickets mailed, they will be mailed first class USPS and placed in outgoing mail the next business day.  Please plan for your tickets to arrive to you within 5-10 days from the time of your ticket order.  If the date of the performance is 5 business days or less from the date of the ticket purchase, your tickets will be placed at our Box Office “will call” window.    

 Will-Call – If you elect to have your tickets available at the Luhrs Center Box Office “will call” window, rather than having them mailed, you may pick up your tickets, in person, anytime between the time of purchase and the date of the event during the Luhrs Center Box Office operating hours.    You may be requested to show a photo ID in order to claim your tickets. 

  Internet Orders - Internet ticket orders can be placed up to two hours prior to the start of the performance.  For tickets ordered over the internet for a future performance, please allow 1 business day before your tickets are available for pick-up at the Luhrs Center Box Office.  If you have requested that the tickets be placed at “will-call” your tickets will be placed at the Luhrs Center Box Office “will-call” window for pick up anytime during regular business hours up to the date of the performance.

Exchanges and Refunds
Please note that all ticket sales are final. No refunds or exchanges will be given under any circumstance unless an event is cancelled or rescheduled (see below).  Internet fees and mailing fees are not refundable under any circumstances.

Performance Content
The Luhrs Center does not rate performer content or make a judgement about the suitability of a performance unless the performer informs the Luhrs Center that the performance may not be suitable for all age groups.  The Luhrs Center strongly urges ticket buyers to be informed about the performers/performances for which they are purchasing tickets.  Performer content is not a reason for a ticket exchange or refund.

Performance Cancellation or Postponement

In the event that a performance is cancelled or rescheduled, every effort will be made to contact patrons via letter, email or phone as soon as the cancellation/postponement is announced and will communicate available ticket refund options. 

If an event is cancelled, patrons will be refunded the amount of the tickets; however, the Luhrs Center does not refund the handling/mailing or internet fees related to the ticket purchase.  Please note that inclement weather is not cause for a refund or exchange unless the performance is actually cancelled or postponed. A cancellation or postponement notice will also be posted on the Luhrs Center Web site located at www.luhrscenter.com.  Please note that oftentimes the decision to reschedule a cancelled event is up to the artist and promoter and not necessarily the host venue.

If an event is rescheduled, patrons will be contacted by the Luhrs Center Box Office via letter, email or phone and provided with information about the various ticket refund/exchange options. 

Replacement of Tickets

If your tickets have been lost, damaged, or stolen, please contact the Luhrs Center Box Office at 717.477.SHOW (7469) for assistance prior to the performance date if possible.
